How a practice gets started

   Start your practice

   Create your organization in a short onboarding flow. Pick how many licensed staff seats and sponsored family seats you want to start with. You can change either count any time.

   Invite your team and families

   Four invite links — one for licensed staff, one for self-pay staff, one for sponsored families, and one for unsponsored families. Share the link that fits; the right seat type is assigned automatically.

   Pay for what you use

   Billing runs through Stripe. Add or remove seats as your practice grows or contracts. No minimums, no contracts, no surprise invoices.

Practice pricing questions

How is practice pricing different from the individual plans?

Individual plans cover one person. Practice pricing adds a shared workspace for your whole team plus a way to sponsor Gold access for your client families — all on a single bill, with one admin view of seats and usage.

What is the difference between a licensed staff seat and a self-pay staff seat?

A licensed staff seat is paid by the practice — you cover the $9.99/month and the team member gets Professional-tier features. A self-pay staff seat lets a colleague join your practice with their own existing subscription, so they show up in the dashboard without adding to your bill.

Do sponsored families have to pay anything?

No. When you sponsor a family at $4.99/month, that family gets Gold-tier features at no cost to them for as long as the sponsorship is active. If a family already has their own Gold subscription, they keep it — you will not be double-billed.

Can families I do not sponsor still join my practice?

Yes. Unsponsored families can connect with your practice through a separate invite link so you can share stories and templates with them. They stay on whatever plan they already use — free or paid — and you are not billed for their seat.

Can I change the number of seats after I sign up?

Yes. Add or reduce licensed staff seats or sponsored family seats from the practice dashboard at any time. Changes are prorated, and Stripe handles the math.

What happens if my payment fails or I cancel?

A payment failure starts a short grace period so you have time to update your card without losing access. If you cancel, seats stay active through the end of your billing period and your team keeps working until then. Stories and templates are never deleted.

Do you offer pricing for schools, districts, or churches?

Yes — schools, districts, and churches are on a separate enterprise path with volume pricing and a short onboarding call. Tell us about your organization and our team will follow up within one business day.
